Shogo Takahashi’s glass works are like "fragments of memory encompassing light."
The lush colors and ripples, created through his unique techniques, awaken sensations as if being in nature—the waterside scenery we once saw, the scent of the breeze, or the rustling of leaves...
The transparent, fresh beauty of glass as a medium, and the stories enclosed within. Every time you gaze at or hold a piece, it changes its expression with the shifting light, bringing a fresh sense of serenity to your daily life.

【ステートメント】
春、川辺に咲く桜。
水がその色や影を映し込む姿 心地よい風の中揺れる草花
野鳥の気配などを感じると、かつてそこにあった人々の足跡を感じます。
独自の技法により生み出したガラスの模様は、色ガラスの種類や混ぜ具合、熱の加減に
よって、一つ一つが違う表情を浮かび上がらせます。
作品を見た方々が、それぞれ水辺の景観を感じ、思いを馳せることができるような作品を
目指しました。
Cherry blossoms blooming by the river in spring.
The way the water mirrors their colors and shadows.
Flowers swaying in a gentle breeze.
The presence of wild birds.
In these moments, I feel the traces of people who stood there long ago.
The glass patterns created through my original technique take on unique expressions,
depending on the type and blend of colored glass and the precise adjustment of heat.
I aim to create works that allow viewers to feel their own "waterside scenery" and
let their thoughts wander through their own memories.
